1 Intro

This report provides some basic description and visualization of the MetaLab taxonomy results. The report is based on the MetaLab_taxonomy.xlsx, without defined experimental design/grouping information. Users can use this to quickly check the taxonomic profile of the dataset at each taxonomic level.

2 Sample overview

  • Number of samples in your dataset: 18
  • Number of species identified: 118
  • Number of genera identified: 60
  • Number of families identified: 34
  • Number of orders identified: 24
  • Number of classes identified: 21
  • Number of phyla identified: 12

3 Identification per sample

4 Alpha diversity

The figure below displays the alpha-diversity (Shannon-Wiener index) on the species level.

5 Beta diversity

The figure below displays the beta-diversity on the species level, visualized using PCoA.

6 Sample Clustering

Visualize sample clustering based on the species-level composition. Distance measure used is “euclidean”, and agglomeration method used is “ward.D”.
